One month before the official theatre release, The Fantastic Four: First Steps released its final trailer to get fans acquainted with the heroes before launch.
The final trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps was released today, exactly one month before it’s set to land in theatres. The trailer introduces fans to Marvel’s First Family in a montage of hero introductions, in case fans couldn’t tell which member is the Human Torch. The trailer showcases The Thing’s inner lumberjack, complete with a rock beard and the Invisible Woman can be seen deploying powers outside of her usual invisibility. The action-packed trailer can be seen below.
The latest information fans were given regarding The Fantastic Four: First Steps, is an Empire interview with Director Matt Shakman, found initially by ComicBookMovie. In that interview, Shakman responded to a question relating to Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday, confirming the next MCU arch-villain will not be present in the film. Shakman said “Doom is not a part of my film, and therefore not a part of my purview.” Interestingly enough, this verbiage doesn’t rule out post-credits scenes, and the MCU is known for big teasers after the credits roll.

Speaking of introductions, the previous trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps showed Galactus and his huge stature walking through the streets of the MCU version of New York City, in this trailer fans were given a better look at Galactus’s harbinger, The Silver Surfer. Instead of The Silver Surfer donning the character’s most commonly known iteration and identity of Norrin Radd, First Steps brings the character Shalla-bal on board as The Silver Surfer.
Shalla-bal was Introduced as Norrin Radd’s love interest in Silver Surfer #1, and is portrayed by Julia Garner in the film. She’s heard saying “I herald, Galactus” in a chilling voice before the world eater is shown kicking a car down the same New York City street.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps launches globally on July 25, 2025, exclusively in theatres.
