A Little to the Left Drops Its Last Update, the Packed Update

A Little to the Left has dropped a new update called the Packed Update. Why it’s special is that it’s the last update, bringing the game’s active development to an end. So, no more updates, but anyone can keep playing the game, new or repeat players.

The game was launched on PC and other platforms in 2022. On Android, it launched in November 2024. It’s developed by the Canadian indie studio Max Inferno and published by Secret Mode. It actually started as a game jam project by Annie Macmillan and Lukas Steinman, the founders of Max Inferno.

What’s the Packed Update Bringing to A Little to the Left?

Firstly, the update has three new puzzles. Each one centres around a drawer, including a bathroom drawer, a tool drawer, and a stash of paper plane supplies.

The Packed Update also enhances the Daily Tidy mode in A Little to the Left. There’s now an extra Daily Tidy puzzle focused on books, redesigned versions of puzzles like Microscope and Calendar, and a system of checkpoints, and bonus stars.

The game now highlights the logic behind correct solutions instead of leaving you puzzled about what went wrong. The update adds or revises solution hints for over 25 puzzles. It includes items from the Cupboards & Drawers and Seeing Stars DLCs like Jewelry Box and Markers.

There’s also a Shuffle Mode now. Unlocked once the main campaign is complete, it remixes all available levels. From the base game, the Archive, and both DLCs, it serves them up in a random order. So, technically, it includes more than 160 levels.

There Are More Major and Minor Fixes

Players who hit over 365 completions can now use a badge selector to show off any combination of achievements they like. Also, a tutorial has been added to explain how stars work in multiple-solution levels.

The new Colour Assist Mode ensures that players with colour vision differences can still complete all puzzles. The team has replaced some levels with variants that don’t depend on colour recognition. If you’re yet to try the game, get it from the Google Play Store.
